The founders

Chris and Sebi started VARM in Berlin in April 2023.

Christian Grüner

Chris studied mathematics, with an MSc in Germany and Singapore. He then worked in consulting. He built his own D2C brand and later sold it. At VARM he owns technology, fundraising and the commercial side of the business. He is convinced that good technology and strong craft belong together.

Sebastian Würz

Sebi co-founded homefully and scaled it to more than €10M ARR and 70 people. He raised around €35M and sold the company to Habyt. At VARM he owns operations and scaling. He knows how to turn a small team into a big one without letting quality slip.

Seven departments, many countries, one team

We work across seven departments: Sales, Operations & Expansion, Management, Tech, Finance, Marketing & Brand and Partnerships. Together we bring sales, technology and craft under one roof.

Our team is genuinely international. People from Germany, Portugal, Georgia, Ukraine and Uganda, among others, work together here. Our home is Berlin-Kreuzberg, on Ritterstraße 12-14.
